Installation

To install the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool:

Click to open the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool installation file.
When you are prompted to either save the file to disk or run it, choose Run.
Follow the steps in the setup dialogs. You’ll have the option to specify where to install the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.

Note: You need to be an administrator on the computer you are installing the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool on. The tool requires the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or higher.

System Requirements

Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Pentium 233-megahertz (MHz) processor or faster (300 MHz is recommended)
50MB of free space on your hard drive
DVD-R drive or 4GB removable USB flash drive

For Windows XP Users
The following applications must be installed prior to installing the tool:

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 must be installed. It can be downloaded here.
Microsoft Image Mastering API v2 must be installed. It can be downloaded here.

Using the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool

Before you run the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool, make sure you have already purchased the Windows 7 ISO download from Microsoft Store and have downloaded the Windows 7 ISO file to your hard drive. If you have purchased Windows 7 but have not yet downloaded the ISO file, you can download the file from your Microsoft Store Account.

To make a copy of your Windows 7 ISO file:

Click the Windows Start button, and click Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool in the All Programs list to open the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.
In the Source File box, type the name and path of your Windows 7 ISO file, or click Browse and select the file from the Open dialog box. Click Next.
Select USB Device to create a copy on a USB flash drive or select DVD disk to create a copy on a DVD disk.
If you are copying the file to a USB flash drive, select your USB device in the drop-down list and click Begin copying. If you are copying the file up to a DVD, click Begin burning.

When your Windows 7 ISO file is copied onto your chosen media, install Windows 7 by moving to the root folder of your DVD or USB flash drive, and then double-click Setup.exe.

Logwatch oder Cacti

Heute habe ich mal wieder einige meiner Server auf den neusten Stand gebracht. Dabei bin ich auf ein sehr interessantes Tool namens Cacti gestoßen. Mal schauen, wenn ich damit klar komme scheint es eine echte alternative zu dem täglichen Mailverkehr von Logwatch zu sein.

Hier habe ich noch was im Netz gefunden!

WebDAV – Einrichtung unter Windows Vista

Bitte beachten Sie:
Die Konfiguration von Webdav unter Windows Vista ist derzeit leider nur über Änderungen in der Registry Ihres PCs möglich. Diese Änderungen wirken sich direkt auf die lokalen Einstellungen Ihres PCs aus. Ich übernehme keinerlei Gewährleistung für eventuell auftretende Probleme, die mit dieser Änderung zusammenhängen.
Die Änderung der Registry geschieht auf eigene Verantwortung.

Öffnen Sie das Startmenü und tragen Sie in der Suche “regedit” ein. Danach machen Sie einen Doppelklick auf regedit.exe
Im Abfragefenster klicken Sie nun auf “Fortsetzen” um den Registryeditor zu starten.
Gehen Sie im Registryeditor zu folgendem Pfad: “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Parameters” und klicken Sie doppelt auf den Eintrag “BasicAuthLevel”.
Ändern Sie den Wert auf 2 und bestätigen mit “OK”.
Starten Sie Ihren PC neu.
Nachdem der PC neugestartet ist, wählen Sie im Startmenü den Punkt “Computer” aus.
Klicken Sie jetzt auf “Netzlaufwerk zuordnen”.
Wählen Sie nun den Punkt “Verbindung mit einer Webseite herstellen, auf der Sie Dokumente und Bilder speichern können” aus.
Bestätigen Sie beide Fenster mit “Weiter”.
Geben Sie nun Ihre Domain in der Form https://bscw.uni-wuppertal.de ein und klicken dann auf Weiter.

Die Domain https://bscw.uni-wuppertal.de ist nur ein Beispiel!
Bitte beachten Sie:
Sollte die Fehlermeldung “Der Ordner-Name ist ungültig” weiterhin auftauchen, dann installieren Sie bitte folgenden Microsoft-Patch: >> Softwareupdate für Webordner (KB907306)
Sie werden nun nach Benutzerdaten gefragt.
Sobald Ihre Daten überprüft und akzeptiert wurden, können Sie selbst einen beliebigen Namen für diese neue Netzwerkressource wählen – die von Ihnen eingegebene Domain wird bereits vorgeschlagen.
Anschließend können Sie die Einrichtung mit einem Klick auf “Fertig stellen” abschließen.

Jeder Kategorie ein eigenes Template zuweisen!

Dieses Funktion ermöglicht es, dass man für jede Kategorie eine eigene single.php anlegen. Es wird die Kategorie-ID ausgelesen und dann kann man ganz einfach eine neue single.php erstellen in folgender Form: single-kategorie-ID.php was dann so ausschaut: single-3.php – dies wäre dann das Template was für alle Artikel genutzt werden würde diese in der Kategorie 3 sind. Falls keine spezielle single.php für einen bestimme Kategorie vorhanden ist wird die Standard single.php genutzt. Das ganze am besten in die functions.php im Themefolder.
